Well, my first morning without any pain complaints. I don’t expect that to last the whole day, but it’s nice not to have to drug myself first thing upon waking. The horrible itchy feeling in my jaw bones is still there, and it’s driving me insane, but I better just get used to it. Rumor has it I may be experiencing it for a couple of months. Ugh.

Lin had to work today, so I’m home alone. Since I’m not drugged, I thought about going to get some groceries, but since just puttering around the house and yard the other day left me in bed feeling like total crap the next day, maybe not a good idea. I guess I’ll watch some TV and sit around eating mush. I’m thinking of putting a piece of pizza in the food processor later. Pizza is one of those things where the flavors are all together anyway, so I’m thinking pizza mush might not be too awful. Or maybe I’ll just stick to refried beans and melted cheese. At the moment, that’s my favorite meal. :lol:

I forgot to tell you about my Un-Birthday Present! What’s an Un-Birthday Present? A silly sort of family tradition involving me getting gifts on other people’s birthdays. It was never really planned, but it always seemed like I got presents on everyone else’s birthday (as well as my own). Now it’s kind of a joke between us all, and some of the family members go out of their way to give me Un-Birthday Presents. Yes, it’s true … I am spoiled rotten. Anyway, Mom gave me a fantastic Un-Birthday Present for Lin’s birthday!

They aren’t as rustic and authentic as I wanted, but they are moccasins, and they are so comfortable. They don’t have any kind of added sole on them, so it’s very close to being barefoot, which I really like. I’ve been wearing the heck out of them, even in the house, and that’s so unusual for me since I hate wearing any kind of shoes at all. I love them!

Well, the cats are running wild and Hillary is about to make a speech. It must be time to chastise insane cats and go be a slug on the couch.
