Last to Know

Could the people who were in the surgery room on June 3 and not drugged out of their minds please be somewhat more forthcoming with the information they received while I was in a wheelchair laughing at the world? I swear, finding out exactly what was done in my mouth is harder than pulling teeth!
I was told there would be no more than two sutures in the jaw area and there was going to be a hole in my lower sinus where one of the roots was resting right up against the sinus wall. In reality, I have sutures just everywhere, as I discovered all on my own when most of the swelling subsided today. Additionally, instead of just having a small hole in my sinus, I have a small hole and a piece of loose bone floating around in there. How did they determine that? I can only imagine they subjected me to a bite-wing x-ray while I was under, which totally explains the bruise on my tongue which is just like the scratch-like bruise I get every time I have ever had a bite-wing x-ray that far back in my mouth. Great, bone bits in my sinus. I am thrilled.
Additionally, they were also informed I was supposed to call in the next day to set up an appointment for a checkup on the work in a week or so, and I only heard about this today as well.
None of my paperwork says anything at all about any of this, but apparently the two sober adults who were with me were informed about it all and just failed to inform me. I am always the last to know everything!
I’m going to go take some more pain medication. I didn’t turn my avocado into soup this afternoon and chewed ever so slightly, and now I am paying the price for chewing soft, overripe avocado. My jaw is not happy with me, and I am not happy with my surgery guardians. Grrrr.
