Beautiful Day

Lin is feeling very sick. I’m not feeling so great either. This sucks, because it’s a beautiful day today and perfect for puttering around in the yard. He’s asleep, and I don’t feel up to puttering alone.

Tomorrow, whether we feel like it or not, my garden is going to have to be moved into more sunlight. I can do most of it myself, but moving the full Earthboxes is going to take the lawn tractor and its trailer. I have yet to learn how to drive the thing, and I have no intention of doing so. Knowing how to operate a lawn mower leads to being expected to use it. I do not mow lawns or drive lawn tractors.

I do think I will go outside in a little while and get out those new cucumber seeds in some dirt. I don’t want them to get too far behind the other plants. Of course, all the planters and pots are at the far end of the back yard, which means it’s going to be at least one block of walking in order to get them. Yes, it’s true. There are negatives about having a huge yard, but at least we get our exercise!
