I slept really late today. I’m storing up energy for the next two days. My mother’s list of things we will be doing together is very, very long, and I have a little side trip I wanted to take as well. I am feeling the need to drive out to Luckenbach and take some photos. I can’t decide if I want to do it on my way there, drag my mom along, or on the way back. I guess it will depend on what time I get out of here in the morning and the weather forecast. I may even stay an extra night just to make the trip over there.

Other than sleeping, I have been getting the house cleaned up so it won’t be a total disaster when I get home. Nothing worse than getting home from a trip to a pigpen and then having to clean it up. There’s still a lot of stuff I want to get done today, like my laundry, and I need to burn a CD with the latest Apple updates for my mom’s computer. I’m sure there’s something I am forgetting, but isn’t that always the case?

So the next two (or three) days are going to be busy, busy, busy. Visits with my mom are always busy affairs, but we usually end up having fun, so I am looking forward to being drug around a million stores and whatnot. What I am not looking forward to is filling th gas tank on the truck tomorrow. It’s going to be a painful experience. I haven’t filled the tank since the gas prices got so insane, but I am betting it’s going to be at least $60. Probably more. I don’t want to think about it.

Oh crap. I just remembered I need to clean the can of the truck, in case I take my mom anywhere in it. Add one more thing to the list! The list … it never goes away.

And now I better get back to the list and stop babbling.
