Man Translation

Man says: “Gee, it would be nice it I didn’t have to walk all the way to the back yard to get rid of this stuff.”
Translation: “Would you get your dirt out of my wheelbarrow now?”
Who knew? I didn’t, which is why I continued sitting on the front stoop enjoying the nice hot sunlight while he carried handfuls of wet leaves and grass clippings to the back yard. Personally, I thought that was silly, because why wouldn’t you just stack them all up on a corner of the driveway and then when you have them all, stuff them into a grocery story bag and toss them into the trash (or onto the compost heap).
A few more of my snap peas sprouted through the dirt surface this morning. No sign of any life from the cucumbers or squash yet, but it hasn’t been all that long yet.
Lin is washing his lawn tractor, so I guess he’ll be mowing the lawn shortly. I think I want to go dig up that plant with the little purple flowers, so I better go find a pot and get going on that. Otherwise, it’s going to get mowed right over.
It’s a beautiful day today!
