1. Who eats more?

Lin, by a long shot, though I do have days when I just eat and eat and eat and probably eat far more than he does.

2. Who said “I love you” first?

Lin did. It took me a few more days to say it back, because, well, it was complicated.

3. Who is the morning person?

Lin is more of a morning person than I am, but I would have to say neither of us. We both like staying up late, and we are both grumpy old bears in the morning. Even though he is less grumpy than I am in the morning, I am the one who is better able to get up as soon as the alarm goes off.

4. Who sings better?

We both sing quite well, but I am less inhibited about just belting out a tune … whenever and wherever.

5. Who’s older?

Lin is older, but I can’t tell you by how much. He’s sensitive about it.

6. Who’s smarter?

We are both pretty darn smart in different areas and ways. The biggest difference is how we approach things. He has a very methodical scientific way of looking at everything, and I tend to think more out-of-the-box and unconventionally. He excels far more than I do at math-related subjects, and I excel in the arts arena. I think this makes us a good match. Between the two of us, there isn’t much we don’t have a handle on.

7. Whose temper is worse?

Equally matched and both hot tempered, but Lin tends to fly into a rage easier than I do.

8. Who does the laundry?

I do.

9. Who does the dishes?

I do.

10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?

I do, and I hate it. I want to sleep on the other side of the bed, but he won’t switch with me.

11. Whose feet are bigger?

Lin’s feet are bigger, but only by an inch. We almost wear the same shoe size. My feet are larger than the average woman’s and his are smaller than the average man’s.

12. Whose hair is longer?

Mine. It hasn’t always been that way. Lin’s hair use to be way, way longer than mine … and prettier and curlier too. I was always so jealous. He decided to get his cut short some years ago in order to look more professional. I cried. I think he did too. He’d had long hair forever.

13. Who’s better with the computer?

I am. That’s not to say Lin is a computer idiot, because he does just fine too, but yes … I am the computer geek in the family.

14. Do you have pets?

Yes. Two bratty cats.

15. Who pays the bills?

Lin does, or rather Lin’s bank account does most of them automatically. Unless it’s late or going to be a hassle requiring calling someone to deal with it, then I get to do it. This is a continual thorn in my side. I’d like to pay the bills when it isn’t a hassle.

16. Who cooks dinner?

I do. Lin swears he knows how to cook, but I haven’t seen any evidence of this in over a decade. He does make some really great cookies, if you can get him to make them.

17. Who drives when you are together?

Lin. Every rare once in a while I do, but it makes him crazy. He’s not at all used to being in the passenger seat, and quite frankly, I hate driving him anywhere. His going crazy makes me nervous, and I am a nervous driver anyway.

18. Who pays when you go out to dinner?

Non-issue. Doesn’t matter who pulls out the card, the money all comes out of the same place.

19. Who’s the most stubborn?

I think I am, but we are both pretty damn stubborn.

20. Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong?

No one ever admits they were wrong. See the aforementioned stubbornness. OK, sometimes someone admits they were wrong, but I guess we do it equally.

21. Whose family do you see more?

Mine, but only because all of his family lives far, far away up north, and mine is all right in the area.

22. Who named your pet?

I came up with the names, but Lin agreed to them.

23. Who kissed who first?

Totally and completely mutual. We both moved in to kiss each other at the exact same moment … in the dark corner of a bar behind a cigarette machine.

24. Who asked who out?

Lin asked me out first. In fact, I am pretty sure Lin did all the asking out.

25. Who stole question 25?

The Grinch.

26. Who’s more sensitive?

We both are, just about different things, but I think I am probably the one who is more sensitive about stuff overall.

27. Who’s taller?

I’m short. Most people are taller than me, and so Lin is too.

28. Who has more friends?

That would be Lin. He has friends everywhere and he makes new friends all the time. I have almost no friends at all, and I don’t really mind.

29. Who has more siblings?

Lin. He has two, and I have none.

30. Who wears the pants in the relationship?

It always seem that Lin wears the pants in the family, but seeing as I wash the pants, iron the pants, fold the pants, and feed the person who wears the pants, I just about always get my way on everything. So he can wear the pants all he likes, but I tend to be the one in control of stuff more often than not.
