The oven is still broken.

Who knew that your thought processes were directly tied to your oven? :)
Hmm… I do some of my best thinking when I’m on autopilot, working in the kitchen, actually…
My brain must be hardwired into the oven. I’ve been wandering around the house for two days now not being productive and barely thinking. I too do a lot of my deep thinking while on autopilot, and that mostly happens when I am in the kitchen. Without the massive cooking I usually do, sitting at the computer and trying to come up with something interesting to say seems to be impossible.
And I am trying not to whine too much publicly about the oven, but it’s really, really bumming me out for a bunch of reasons that go beyond not getting to bake bread. But the house just doesn’t feel right without the daily baking and roasting going on. It’s making me a little crazy. Fuzzy headed, unthinking, and crazy.
