I’ve been getting almost daily update emails from MacUpdate Promo for months and months. It offers a daily program (for Mac, of course) at great savings. There have been a few I have been tempted to buy over the months, but none that I remembered to buy before the day ran out. I guess I didn’t want them badly enough. Today they finally offered a program I couldn’t resist, one that I have been wanting since the first week I had my iMac: Quadrium Flame. It’s normally $39.95, which is at that price range where I really, really have to think about whether or not I want to spend money on something. I just bought it for $19.95, because, well, I couldn’t resist. Blame it on the Dr Pepper … or maybe the fact I have been wanting a fractal flame generator for the Mac since day one. :D

Now I can get back to rendering me some fractals to use as textures (and desktop wallpapers). Woo hoo! Rarely am I this excited about spending my mad money, but I am thrilled! I think it’s safe to say, the rest of the afternoon may now be lost to sitting in front of the computer. :blush:
