Red in the morning, sailors take warning!

The sky is very red this morning. We are about to get hit by a storm spawned by whichever tropical storm it is headed to the Texas coast. On the one hand, I am very thankful it is going to rain today. I won’t have to water and maybe it won’t be so damn hot. On the other hand, I won’t be able to go paint in the back yard due to the wetness of everything. Maybe if it isn’t raining too hard or lets up by afternoon I can set up shop on the front porch, though that would seem to be begging to be bugged by Annoying Boy. Still, I wanted to finish that painting today. :(

I’m going to go watch the news, and as soon as it starts raining, I’m going to crawl into bed with the cats. Rainy weather is the best weather for sleeping! Not that either cat is acting much like they will be wanting to nap anytime soon. Currently they are tearing around the house chasing each other at a million miles an hour. They were both really good yesterday. That means they will be little terrors today … especially with the weather changing. They always get antsy before a storm.
