Has my web site been inaccessible the last few days? The reason I ask, see, is because a) there hasn’t been much commenting or email responses and b) the stats are saying there have been about 55 visitors a day the last two days … which is incredibly smaller than average. I mean, I don’t care if people comment or not, but it seems like maybe people have been having problems getting to my web site.
Or maybe I finally pissed everyone off and no one is coming ’round anymore. :lol:
Just, you know, curious about whether I should be griping at my host or not.

I checked twice yesterday, during my brief slow times at work, and once your site timed out on me. The other time it loaded just fine. You haven’t pissed me off; I’ve just been too busy with work.
My uptime service has sent me several emails over this week telling me my site was down, but as soon as the email came in, I would check and it loaded fine. Maybe it’s just something really intermittent. I’ll give it one more day, check the stats again, and then maybe gripe to my host that something seems odd … because only 55 readers in one day falls into the realm of really odd around here.
Time warner technician installed our wires wrong so we’ve been waiting for an entire month to get service to fix it. They’ve been a pain in my ass, but they’re the only high speed internet available in our area… using dialup for a month has been hell. Everything takes way too long to load. :mad: oh .. and there is feces/e.coli bacteria in our drinking water here in Corpus Christi. Yummy. :mad: :mad:
Dial-up is the worst. Whenever we go to Mom’s and I have to download some update for her or something, it takes FOREVER. I would die without my high-speed cable.
One of my other coastal friends was telling me about the water problems in Corpus. Oh yeah … soooo yummy. NOT! :P
