Odd Cat

I know I have mentioned how Ronin is always bringing all the cat toys onto the bed and how he brings me toys when he wants to play fetch (which is all the time it seems). What I haven’t told you about is how Myu also carries things around too. Well, she carries them from the bedroom to the middle of the living room floor, and it’s always one of a few select item types, and it only happens on laundry day. Princess Myu is an odd little cat. Rarely wants anything to do with toys. Rarely wants to play. But let me tell you, on laundry day, she is all about bring things from the bedroom to the living room. Her favorite items to drag out currently are Lin’s socks, which I suspect she has a stash of somewhere, and my underwear (both from the laundry pile), as well as finger towels, washcloths, and my spaghetti strap tank tops (all from the clean clothes on top of my dresser). It never fails on laundry day, there she is dragging things into the living room.

I can’t see there is any particular reason for her bringing these things to the living room. She doesn’t play with them. She doesn’t lay down on them. She just hauls them into the middle of the living room floor, drops them, and goes about her merry way. It’s just one of the many strange things she does … like the love affair she has been having with the shop-vac hose. Like I said, she’s an odd little cat.

Now since I talked about her, I feel the need to post a photo of the precious thing. You will note the grumpy look in her eye due to me having the audacity to not only pick her up and hold her but to force her to sit for a photo. Poor, poor Myu.
