In the world of fruits and vegetables, things are not always perfect. Anyone who has ever planted a non-genetically-modified-to-be-perfect seed in dirt to produce produce or who has ever shopped at farmers markets or road-side stands will know … sometimes natural produce looks very different from the perfectly-sized and colored things you find at the local supermarket. For those who have never seen a carrot that looked like a hand or an eggplant with a hard-on, I present the Mutato Collection: “a collection of non-standard fruits, roots and vegetables found at Berlins farmers markets.”
