Clean and Neat

And now for something completely different … a look inside my fridge. What can I say, I am pleased with my efforts to clean, throw out, and organize the mess that it had become. I should have taken a before photo, but I would have been too embarrassed to post it.

Inside the Fridge

Very exciting, yes?

I need to organize the freezer too, but I can’t possibly do it today. There’s only so much organization my system will allow in one day, and I already did the pots and pans too. That’s about it for organizing. I have to move on to doing more dishes now anyway … the dishes which contained a variety of strange science experiments in the fridge. You know I can’t wait to get to those.

Are you expecting a butter shortage anytime soon?

I swear … there’s going to be a butter shortage any day now!!!

As I cleaned out the cheese and butter drawer, I discovered just how much butter I had. Oops.

That’s not even all the butter in the fridge. There’s still one package in the butter and cheese drawer and several partial sticks in the egg compartment. I decided to set the largest mass of it out on a shelf to remind myself I probably don’t need to buy any more butter for a good long while.

My husband is going to laugh at me when he gets home and looks in the fridge.

Ah, yes… the Great Butter Revolt of 2007. I’ve heard rumors. Enh, I stockpile condiments on accident, so I guess we’re tied.

I shudder to organize the pantry cabinet. I have the funny feeling I have been stockpiling pasta for some future shortage as well.
