Earth-shattering news of the moment? I managed to hard crash my iMac. Well, I guess there are limits to how many things I can do at one time, at least until I get another gig of memory. Oops.

Now for the earth-shattering news I was typing up when my computer said STOP!!!

Last year I bought three bottles of scent oils from my favorite soap and candle supply house. Dirt, Fresh Cut Grass, and Tomato. I loved the Dirt and Fresh Cut Grass, of course, because those are some of my favorite scents in the whole world. I hadn’t been too thrilled with the Tomato. Neither Lin nor myself thought it smelt much like a tomato at all. It smelled nice and earthy, but it didn’t immediately say TOMATO to me.

Last night I was cutting one of the large organic, heirloom tomatoes for on our sandwiches. While I was sitting at the work table and putting together our summery feast, the scent of the tomato slices wafted up to my nose (in an almost overwhelming way). I would like to announce at this time, that yes indeed, that scent oil I bought DOES smell just like a fresh tomato … a fresh, organic, heirloom tomato! Now, of course, I love that scent oil too. :)
