Am I the only person on the planet that owns a Pillsbury Automatic Bread and Dough Maker from the MK Seiko Company? I cannot find the instruction manual anywhere, it disappeared when we moved (like a bunch of things) so it may be in the Box Room, which means it will remain lost for a while. It’s pretty explanatory what the buttons do, as in it isn’t all that complicated, but I have no idea about recipes for it or how much bread dough is the right amount for it. Argh!
I’m thinking of donating it and getting a newer and better one. This one was fine, but it’s at least 8 years old. I imagine bread machines have improved since then. Or maybe not. The fact I can’t find any information about it on line … like a downloadable manual or even a web site that admits such a machine ever was manufactured doesn’t really make me want to own it anymore.
This is making me angry. I wanted to start making our bread again (after some years of not doing it), and now I don’t know how to use my fancy machine. If I have to do it the old-fashioned way, it won’t get done … and I really want to stop buying bread at the store. I guess I’ll go poke around and see what is new a good in bread makers. Anyone out there who owns one and has an opinion, speak up! :)
One problem after another. At least I found the manual for the food dehydrator. That’s a little more complicated than the bread machine, which is why it hasn’t been used very much since I got it. Well, aside from it being a HUGE piece of kitchen equipment that takes up more room than I really have in my kitchen.
