What do you do when it’s April, there’s ice coming out of the sky, and you have no food of interest in the house? Why you order a delivery pizza, of course. There’s just no way I or Lin feel like going out in this muck to obtain sustenance, and soup, tater tots, a lump of frozen raw chicken and salad veggies aren’t going to sustain us. A nice hot delivery pizza, on the other hand is … well … a nice hot delivery pizza. Don’t worry, I’m going to tip very well. The pizza guy will probably hate me anyway, but that’s the breaks in the service industry. You get to do things other people don’t want to do … like leave their almost warm home and drive around in this nastiness to hunt the wild pizza beast.
Really, this weather is unreal. The ice isn’t really sticking to anything for long, though there is a small collection of frozen water on the hoods of our trucks. It’s just not right, I tell you.
