Today’s Plan

I laid down on the bed right after my last post yesterday. It was stormy and dark, and I was tired. Seemed like a great idea to cuddle with the kitties and listen to some Podcasts while I was waiting for Lin to get home for dinner. I didn’t hear more than the first five minutes of the first Podcast before I was in Slumberland. I don’t know what time Lin got home, but when he woke me up, I said “I have to make dinner.” Then I went to the bathroom, washed my face and hands, and somehow ended up right back in bed asleep. I just woke up a few minutes ago. I am feeling much better about life, the universe and everything.

What I am not feeling good about it the fact I didn’t make or eat any dinner last night. Oops. Good thing I ate a big lunch yesterday isn’t it?

Only three things are on my plan for the day. I have to go get groceries before the cats realize there’s less than half a cup of kitty kibble in their bowls. I’m not even going to make a list. I’m too lazy to make a list, and all it would consist of is kitty kibble, food for humans for a few days, and hair dye. Yes, hair dye. I have decided I can’t stand my hair the way it is for a minute longer. Something must be done about it! I also want to do the thorough bathroom cleaning I meant to do the other day. Between the water leaking into the house and the kittens throwing the kitty litter everywhere each time they use their poo box, the place is a wreck. Finally, I need to crawl up in the attic and see what’s going on up there as far as water leakage. Lin said he’d do it, but I’m smaller, lighter, more agile and better suited for crawling around in the mostly unknown wasteland that sits on top of our house. I suspect the water getting into the bathroom wall is coming from nowhere near the bathroom. Roof leaks can run along bracing boards, so I need to find where the leak actually is and how much damage it is doing (and where).

So that’s my plan for the day … even though I would really like to go back to bed. It felt so good to get some sleep finally.
