Since the kittens were being somewhat cooperative today, I took the opportunity to take their “official” 6 months photos … behind the cut, because they are a little file-size heavy for people on dial-up connections.
I haven’t posted any photos lately that really gave you any size reference for how much they have grown. I think anyone can look at this one of Ronin and see quite clearly that he is a freaking MONSTER of a cat. I think Myu is about the size a 6 month old kitty should be, and she’s a whole lot smaller than her brother. I don’t have any way to weigh them too accurately, but Ronin is about 8 pounds now, and Myu is lighter coming in at about 6 pounds. They are both little monsters, but Ronin is far and away the heavier and stronger one. Here’s hoping he doesn’t keep growing at the rate he has been the last month or so, or he’s going to end up being panther-sized! :lol:

I love how Myu looks so surprised. I would think she’d be used to the camera by now. :)
These photos show their feelings about the camera perfectly. Ronin is all “oooh, the camera, cool” and Myu is all “oooh, the camera, damn”.
Ronin is becoming really trainable as far as tricks go, and I think I am going to totally exploit that. He’s a ham for the camera. Maybe he can become a Meow Mix commercial cat one day. Myu, on the other hand, would probably be thrilled if she never saw a camera again. :D
