Yes, the sun was out! It was even warm enough for me to lounge around on the porch without several layers of warm clothing! Did a lot to improve my mood. Felt good after so many grey and dreary days.

And thanks! It turned out a lot prettier than I even expected. And the scent isn't nearly as bad as Lin makes it out to be. The problem is he came home just as I was finishing up, and when you have been adding scented oils to hot melted soap, some of it steams off into the air ... so the house was REALLY smelly ... like if I had one of those heated oil potpourri things on all day on high. The soap itself doesn't smell all that strong, and I try to keep the perfumes to a minimum so that the scent doesn't cling too much after use in a bath or shower. I like to enjoy scents whlie bathing, but I don't necessarily want them hanging around all day. :D

Though I do love dirt and grass. It just reminds me of warmer weather when we are all outside and everything is green and growing and fresh smelling. I had a tiny bit too much base made, so I got to wash my face with that this morning, and it was a great morning eye-opener. Then I realized it wasn't yet summer and it was REALLY cold in the house.

that looks really neat! and i love the thought of soap that smells like dirt/grass. it sounds like a perfect soap for wintertime, when you're impatient for spring.
