When the first thing I read in the morning is an email from a friend in town telling me that last night he witnessed the burning down of Buffet Palace last night … OUR Buffet Palace on Anderson Lane … I can only imagine today is going to go downhill from there. I am probably far more upset about a restaurant burning down than I should be, but that was “our restaurant” … a place full of memories … our favorite place to go and hang out eating sushi and drinking green tea, talking and being silly. I am really, really sad about this. It’s almost like losing an old friend.

At least we got to eat there one more time Saturday night. I can’t believe it’s gone! :bawl:

I hope they rebuild it.
