Holy hell! It’s 11 am, and the temperature outside is a mere 38 degrees! It’s unnatural, and I hate it. :puh:

The forecast for the next few days are for freezing rain, sleet and SNOW. Yes, there is snow in the forecast for Austin, Texas. I’ll believe it when I see it. It’s not unheard of. We did have snow on Valentine’s Day the first year we lived in the house, but snow would be considered a real rarity around these parts. I can’t say I would mind too much, but Texas snow isn’t like “real” snow. It usually sucks for playing in … being all wet and nasty. Of course, if it does somehow manage to snow enough to make a little snowman, I will be doing just that and taking a bunch of photos of it. It’s sort of a personal tradition. I’ve done that every time it has snowed in Texas in my lifetime, which is only about four or five times. I told you it was a rarity, didn’t I? :lol:

I’ve got the furnace cranked way up, and I think I will take a super-hot shower to get my body temp up a little before getting dressed in every warm thing I own. I really hate cold wet weather, and boy is it cold and wet right now. Yuck. Then I think I’ll make a huge pot of potato and sausage soup. We are definitely going to be wanting some warming comfort food today.

And if none of that works to warm me up, I’m going to crawl back into bed to hibernate. :D
