And as if I needed one more thing to be upset about this morning, right after I hit the publish button on the last post, I heard an odd loud dripping coming from the bathroom. Louder and odder than the dripping I usually hear after someone takes a shower. I go to investigate, and the dripping seemed to be coming from the back wall of the shower … as in not IN the shower itself. I begin looking around, and that’s when I noticed that a huge swath of the wall with the window in it (the window that is mostly covered by the shower stall) is soaking wet. Heaven help us, it appears the window seal is leaking, and who knows how long it has been doing that. I told you I suspected there was unseen mold in the bathroom, and now I know for certain there has to be mold in the wall behind the shower. Ugh.

I guess doing something about the bathroom just got moved up a few notches on the priority scale.

Since I doubt I will feel like sitting at the computer at all for the rest of the day due to all the bad news and horrible weather, I’m just going to blurt out my good news. Lin is once again employed. It’s a decent job, with decent pay and actual benefits, and his boss is a good man. At some point, I’ll feel like being excited about it and babble more about all the goodness of this turn of events, but right now, I just want to go suffer a brief bout of depression.
