Forgotten Post

Yuck. Another grey and dreary day. Certainly doesn’t help my motivation levels any. Also doesn’t help that I was entirely incapable of falling asleep last night. I guess at some point, the greyness of the day will lead me to sleeping many hours on the couch or elsewhere.

I hadn’t checked the weather forecast for a few days, not planning on going anywhere anytime soon, but I checked it just now, and it’s going to be wet and nasty all week, ending with a chance of freezing rain on Monday. Oh … the … joy.

OK, forgot I was writing a post and wandered into the kitchen to make and eat breakfast, and then I toddled to the living room when I heard the Namaste Yoga show come on the TV. I love that show. First off, the girls and scenery are both beautiful to watch. Yoga, done well, is just gorgeous to behold. These girls do it well. Then there’s the relaxing voice of the Yoga Master. Very calming. Finally, I used to be into doing Yoga, and I keep trying to inspire myself to get into it seriously again. I know, it’s totally wrong to sit on the couch like a lump and watch an exercise show, but we all do it, don’t we? :D

This morning though, I recognized the routine as one I used to do, and so I pulled off my hoodie, under which I was conveniently wearing a yoga top, and stripped off my jeans and joined in. I only lasted for a quarter of the show, but when I was done, I felt SO damn good. I think I may have inspired myself to get dressed and start doing it regularly next week. It really does feel marvelous, even when it hurts.

Now my mood is improved, my tummy is full, and my body feels good. I guess today won’t be such a sucky, gloomy day after all. Now all I need to do is get some sleep. :yawn:

And who knows what I originally sat down to write about! I know I had something to say other than complaining about the weather. I guess if it was important, it’ll pop into my mind again.
