I am super-duper excited about the IKEA store opening in Round Rock this week. I really dig IKEA, probably a little more than one should. I am not crazy enough to start camping out at the store days in advance of its opening, in the hopes of winning an $80 chair. That’s just insane. Look, when I read they were only giving away 100 of them to the first 100 adults through the doors on opening day, I realized I wasn’t going to get one … because surely there will be 100 people stupid-crazy enough to camp out at the store days in advance. Sure enough, I was right.

Yeah, I love IKEA, and I can’t wait to convince Lin that we need to get a few things there to replace some of the old things in our house, but I can wait until it’s “business as usual” there and skip having to deal with people who obviously have too much free time on their hands and very little sense in their heads.
