Kitten on counter mystery solved, I think. I just watched Ronin jump onto the dining room table from the floor. Oh, he had to struggle a little, but he got up there. I’m guessing that’s how the counter was conquered as well.

Next mystery of the day: After cleaning up the entire contents of the kittens’ water bowl from the kitchen floor with a towel (for the second time today), I open the door to the laundry room to toss the wet towel out there, and what do I find? Mamma Cat laying on the old bathroom rug I put by the door. The door to the outside world is not open, so I have no idea how she got into my laundry room.

I am surrounded by cats … CRAZY CATS … and they are all being total terrors!
