Lin forgot to close the bedroom door again this morning. I didn’t notice until I started looking for the cats. Naturally, I found them in the bedroom. Princess Myu had fallen into the soft-sided clothes hamper at the side of the bed from which she was incapable of escaping. Ronin was sitting on my chest of drawers staring down at her … laughing, perhaps? I don’t know how long Myu had been trapped, or how long she had been mewing for attention to her problem. Unfortunately for her, I was shopping at iTunes, and so wasn’t hearing much of anything other than song previews.

I know exactly how Myu came to be in that predicament too. When I walked into the room, Ronin jumped cleanly from the chest of drawers to the bed. Presumably, that’s how he got to the chest of drawers in the first place. So he jumped from the bed, Myu tried to follow him, but not being a jumper at all, fell right into the clothes hamper. I did try not to laugh while rescuing her, but it was pretty darn funny.
