For those of you on Apples using iPhoto:

If you clicked the button the first time you plugged your digital camera into your computer that told iPhoto to open every time you plugged in your camera, you may have grown tired of that. I know I did, but I couldn’t figure out how to make it stop doing it. Today I discovered the magic place to look for the preference.

You have to open Image Capture, and in its preferences you will find the option to have iPhoto, Image Capture or nothing open when you connect a digital camera.

My computer existence just got a little less annoying. :)
