Today has sucked. The headache just won’t go away. No amount of aspirin or napping or sitting on the couch paging through old magazines has helped. Bah.

Cat Lady didn’t call. I called and left a message after lunch. No call-back so far. My peevishness is growing. If I weren’t already somewhat attached to those particular kittens, I’d just go to the SPCA down the road and come home with two others tomorrow. Unfortunately, Lin and I are way, WAY attached to these particular kittens, so I guess we can’t do anything but sit around and wait to hear from Cat Lady. Double bah.

DAMMIT!!! I WANT KITTENS NOW!!!

I’m so glad I made a huge pot of chili last night and don’t have to cook anything tonight. I’m in a mood … a foul mood. There are reasons for my mood beyond the non-response of Cat Lady, but I’m not going into them. Let’s just say she’s not the only person I am peeved at right now. In fact, I’m just peeved in general. You try being wildly hormonal for a month straight, have someone standing between you and the kittens of your dreams, and have someone else in your life being a total butthead and see what sort of mood you end up in!

I’m off to stuff a few more things into the trash bin, and then I guess I’ll poke at Clutter Central in the living room a little more. Just imagine me sitting on the floor surrounded by old magazines and other bits of junk pouting and grunting quietly … and be thankful you aren’t in close physical proximity of my person. I’m really grouchy today.
