This heat and lack of rain has reached the level of being completely unbearable, and we are looking at another week of temperatures over 100. Earlier today Lin was watching the local weather report. On a scale of 1 to 10, the UV index today is … get this … 11! Yes, off the scale. Exciting isn’t it?

We have given in to cowering in our dark and cool house for the weekend doing nothing more than watching old movies, surfing the internet and playing video games. Unfortunately, Monday Lin has to go to work, and I am going to have to go shopping and run some errands. It’s going to be awful.

This heat-wave could stop now, or at least the temperatures could come down just a little bit. This over-100 every day is getting REALLY old.
