WTF?!

A Central Ohio woman said she has had the same license plate on her car for more than a decade, but now the state is calling her personalized plate obscene.

Now I’m usually pretty up on the latest slang and newest obscenities, but had I seen a license plate with NWTF on it, I wouldn’t have thought a damn thing about it aside from possibly wondering what the initials stand for to the person who had the plate … if I even put that much thought into it at all. In reality, this woman’s license plates are NWTF for Northwood Tree farm, a business she and her husband used to own. According to the powers that be at the licensing office, it stands for Now What The F*ck. Crazy, huh? Had it been just WTF, yeah, I could have seen that, but I still wouldn’t have considered the license plate to be obscene … seeing as it doesn’t actually spell out the “bad” word. I hope she wins her appeal, but I doubt she will. People are entirely too afraid of words and language these days, even when it’s just a few letters that could really stand for anything.

Orb to world: Grow up already.
