Virtual Villagers

Latest time waster? Virtual Villagers: A New Home … and boy IS it a time waster. You know how I do love simulation games. I’m just playing the demo for now, because I’d rather spend my mad money on craft supplies at the moment, and when I do get around to buying my first real game for the Mac, it’s probably going to be either Neverwinter Nights or The Sims. Though for $20, I might have to consider indulging myself and getting Virtual Villagers. It’s pretty darn cute.

    My latest time waster has been imvu.com. Don’t know what imvu is? You probably don’t want to find out then because if you get started you’ll probably get majorly busy wasting your time on it. It’s a new chat program that is done in the style of The Sims. So far it is just in beta so it’s limited to 1on1 chat and a very difficult to do group chat. But the avatars are so darn cute! And just like the Sims, it’s very user driven, with lots of people coming up with their own avatars and accessories that you can buy with points you earn or buy. So far I’ve wasted probably a whole 24 hours in the last week. And I’ll probably go back again soon and waste more time. I’ll have to check out Virtual Villagers next! LOL!

    Oh … my … god. I wish I hadn’t found out what IMVU was. That looks too totally cool.

    I played Virtual Villagers for HOURS before running into the demo limitations. Definitely enough time to know I have to own the game. One of these days, I am going to get the Sims, but I just know that’s going to suck me in so far no one may ever see me outside the house again.

    I have the Sims but it’s uninstalled right now, lol. I don’t have Sims 2 though which is supposed to be awesome. Just like IMVU. Lol, sorry I told you about it. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime. Then I can show you my wings and fangs, hehe…

    I had Sims 2 it is freakin’ awesome! There are ways I’m sure every1 knows to download games for free, and I’m not talking about demos I’ll have to check out IMVU tho sounds fun.

    this game is the best! if you want to have the full version for free, download it from yahoo, they will give you an extra 5 min everytime you play. if any of you need help with how to solve some of the puzzles in the game or have any questions, i’d be glad to help.
