Storm on the Plain

Since the weather turned icky … 102 degree heat index AND rain … not to mention Lin’s utter laziness, we aren’t going anywhere interesting to play with the camera today. So I have been entertaining myself by goofing around with Photoshop Elements. When they come out with a new version that is 100% compatible with my computer, I think I’ll be buying it.
Here’s the only doodle that was at all worth sharing. Click the pic for a larger view.

Speaking of storms on the plain, how did you fair with the big storm yesterday? Out here in Bastrop, we had numberous fences blown down, as well as several houses had roof shingles blown off. We weathered the storm fine, but I suspect that the insurance people will be out in force Monday.
It slipped right past us. We got a bit of wild wind at first that knocked the trees around a little, but nothing more than a little drizzle after that. One of my friends was visiting someone in Bastrop when it hit, and that house ended up with some fencing torn down and a tree that got mangled. Must have been some storm. Looked awful on the radar.
