I have had a somewhat productive morning. First I attempted to straighten and clean the bookshelves behind my desk. They are still somewhat of a mess but are far better than they were. That led to going through all the unlabeled CDs I found on the shelves. While doing that, I became irritated with the state of my desk. Not only was it a huge pig stye, it’s been cluttered and uncomfortable since the iMac arrived and my old PC got shoved off to the side. I had hoped to move the old PC far, far away from my desk, but it seems I am still somewhat tied to it for the time being, and there’s really nowhere else to put it. Something had to be done, and so I did it. For the moment my desk is nicely enough organized and cleaned to let you see it. Not to mention, I thought I should document the fact that my desk can be neat and clean, in order to remind myself of that when it starts getting messy again.
