Today’s Plan

It figures that I spend two days planning cheap and away-from-the-house activities for today and now it looks like it’s going to be rainy and nasty later this afternoon … and several of my planned activities involved being outdoors. I guess we’ll have to choose something off my backup plan, like going to the Blanton Museum. Yes, Lin might get some culture forced on him today after all! I think I will force him to take me to the yarn store too, just because.

I just hope I stop sneezing. I woke up sneezing, and every few minutes, I have to sneeze. Blame the high mold spore count and several Ozone Action days in a row. I guess it won’t be so bad for it to rain. The mold problem will be worse afterwards, but at least I might be able to breath for a while as it is raining.

The plan for the day is lunch at Quality Seafood Market, going to the grand opening of the new Asian mall, and (if it’s raining) visiting the Blanton Museum. If it isn’t raining, maybe we’ll get to go to a park like I originally planned. Once we’ve done all that, then maybe the yarn store or a mall. I still have a Sears gift card with some money on it. Shopping therapy, here we come!

Now to go beautify myself and find something to wear. That’s always the hardest part … finding something to wear. I have to be prepared to face the onslaught of hell-like heat, tropical humidity and the freezing temperatures of any building we walk into. I am convinced that if Texans, on the whole, would turn up the thermostats on their air condition to something reasonable, they wouldn’t walk outside and melt quite so often. It’s ridiculous to have condensation forming on windows of your restaurant or store.

Have a good one, everybody! Provided the weather doesn’t get too nasty, I think we will.
