Been wondering where I’ve been? Yeah, usually just don’t drop off the face of the internet without some word about it.

About 20 minutes after my last post on the morning of the 31st, I found myself feeling deathly ill … Viral Gestroenteritis as best we can figure. I’ve had “stomach flu” before, but never EVER like this. In fact, I would now describe every previous time I have had “stomach flu” as merely having an upset stomach. I have entirely new definitions for pain, nasea, and feeling sick. Holy freaking four days of hell, and I am not done with it yet. I’ve just finally gotten to the point where I can drink liquids and eat soft foods like yogurt and not regurgitate them 30 minutes later. I think I have had a cup of yogurt today. I am going to be a while regaining my strength from this. I have seriously not been this sick since … I can’t remember when. Probably sometime back in college. Maybe never. This may be the most sick I’ve ever been.

I don’t have the strength to say anything else about it right now, but I thought you might be wondering where the hell I had been. I’m really out of it right now … REALLY out of it. I’ll fill you in completely as soon as I am eating solid food again and can focus on something for longer than two seconds. I’m still miserable. I’m just not wretching every 30 minutes anymore. Thank heavens for small miracles.
